Ingredients
- Pack of rice noodles (cook to package directions)
- ½ pound raw shrimp (peeled and deveined)
- Package of imitation crab meat
- ½ pound cuttle fish
- 24 ounce chicken broth
- 24 ounce water
- 4 garlic cloves (minced)
- 1 piece of peeled ginger smashed
- 2 star anise
- Cinnamon stick
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups bean sprouts
- Basil
- Cilantro
- Scallions

How to make it
- In large stock pot, add cooking oil and garlic, heat to medium high and sauté til golden.
- Add the chicken broth, water, ginger, star anise. Bring to boil and lower heat and allow to simmer. Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Cook the noodles to package directions.
- Add shrimp to cook for 1 minute and remove. Blanch the imitation crab for 30 seconds in stock pot.
- In large bowl, place in serving of noodles, top with shrimp, imitation crab. Layer in the herbs and vegetables. Serve with the finished broth.
