Japchae
Ingredients
- 8 ounce sweet potato noodles
- 4 ounce spinach
- 5 tablespoons oil
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- ½ onion, thinly sliced
- 3 sliced shiitake mushrooms
- 1 small carrot (cut into thin strips)
- 1 stalk of scallions cut to 1 inch length
- ½ table spoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon toasted sesame seeds
- 4 table spoons of soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons white sugar

How to make It
- Cook sweet potato noodles to package instructions.
- Heat pot of water and blanch spinach for 45 seconds and run under cold water and drain.
- In large skillet, add oil, garlic, onion, mushroom, and carrots. Sauté on medium high heat for a couple of minutes then add the scallions for additional minute.
- Reduce heat, add the noodles, spinach, sesame oil, soy sauce and sugar. Combine well and sauté for additional 2 minutes.
- Serve on plate, sprinkle with sesame seeds. Add Au Co Fine Foods Sa Té Lemongrass Chili Oil to level up the flavor!
